Take Action
Let’s all take one action step this week. Here are some ideas for climate actions that’ll take 10 minutes, one hour, or longer term.
Speak up for marine wildlife by telling Congress to oppose seismic blasting.
Listen to the latest Greenie Guide Podcast with SanDiego350.
Tell Congress to support the Green New Deal. The March for Science has a great phone call feature to help guide you on what to say when you call.
Join tomorrow’s webinar with the Union of Concerned Scientists to learn how to hold fossil fuel companies accountable for their role in climate change.
Join a Citizens’ Climate Lobby Climate Intro Call to learn more about the organization and how you can help take climate action every Wednesday at 8pm ET.
Donate to an environmental organization making a difference. Most nonprofits have an end-of-the-year donation drive to help raise much needed funds to the cause. Make a gift to your favorite group or cause…even $10 makes a difference!
Switch to a reusable option on one item. Coffee cups, shopping bags, produce bags, and straws are all great options. My next new reusable habit: remembering a napkin when I go out to eat.
